Description:

Leidos is looking for an IT Asset Administrator to perform duties within the ESA-IV ATF asset management department. The IT Asset Administrator will support the asset management life cycle for tracking and accounting for all IT hardware and software assets from procurement to disposal as well as make recommendations on software and hardware purchases.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

 

- Demonstrated customer service support ethic and focus to deliver the highest, most consistent level of customer service to our customers.

- Monitors the status of open orders, documenting progress in the tracking system. Identifies and reports any issues that may cause order delay to the requestor.

- Manages ticket queues, assigns tickets to other team members and tracks status

- Tracks and maintains inventory data, including serial numbers and assignment information in the Configuration management database (CMDB).

- Ensures the proper tracking of IT asset inventory by conducting audits and virtual inventories.

- Tracks and maintains software asset records for commonly used software applications for software harvesting.

- Triages break/fix systems and restores to usable inventory through warranty repair or reimage.

- Tracks and maintains software asset records for commonly used software applications for software harvesting.

- Runs reports and provides status updates on ticket metrics, inventory levels, and software usage.


Qualifications:

REQUIRED SKILLS:

 

- Must currently possess ATF clearance - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
 
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required.
 
- Must be able to manage multiple requests and work with changing priorities in a high volume, customer-oriented environment.
 
- Proficiency in word processing (Word) and spreadsheets (Excel) required.
 

- Strong understanding of desktop hardware to make recommendations.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High school diploma with 2 - 4 years of related IT procurement and IT asset management experience required.
