Job Summary
This position shall provide Identity Intelligence Analyst support to the Biometrics and Identity Intelligence (I2) Analytical Support to the National Ground Intelligence Center (NGIC) forward deployed OCONUS in Afghanistan.    
The individual shall be knowledgeable of the Intelligence Cycle, and research and intelligence analytic techniques. The individual shall have extensive experience (including complex Boolean logic queries) with standard all-source intelligence research tools such as: Palantir, Tripwire Analytic Capability (TAC), BI2R, Query Tree, Combined Information Data Network Exchange (CIDNE), M3/AMHS, Analyst Notebook, open source research, Biometric Automated Toolset (BAT), TIDE, Pulse, Consular Consolidated Database (CCD), QLIX, or Google Earth.  Proficiency with all of the listed systems is preferred, but not required.
The individual’s experience will reflect performance of tasks showing clear knowledge of the U.S. Intelligence Community’s Intelligence Cycle, experience with research and intelligence analytic techniques, strong research and writing skills, and experience with basic computer applications, search engines, and data processing systems.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform all-source I2 research, analysis, exploitation and production IAW I2 priorities and standard operating procedures. Products will include, but not be limited to, finished intelligence (FININTEL) meeting ODNI analytic integrity standards, biometric-related analysis reports, similar products, or future analytical products, using the Biometric Identity Intelligence Resource (BI2R) or any other future system or repository; email responses to requests for information, and initial notifications of biometric matches with associated all-source identity intelligence, or any other product supporting global Intelligence Requirements or operations.
Specifically supports: Biometric Enabled Watchlist operations; coordinate requirements with and respond to support requests from tactical/theater level, CCMD, and national organizations; manage watchlist nominations per NGIC/I2 SOPs; create, modify and submit biometric files; manage and manipulate I2 information; exploit open source and social media information for I2 data and incorporate into databases, reports, and briefings as appropriate.

CONUS analysts must provide 24/7/365 support.  May also have the opportunity for OCONUS theater rotation.  OCONUS analysts may be required to support shift work to provide around the clock support. Specific shift duration and additional compensation will vary by location and applicability of host country labor laws.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in any field; may substitute additional 4 years of relevant intelligence experience for this education requirement.
  • U.S Government (military/civilian) trained intelligence analysts with a minimum of 8 years of intelligence analysis experience (to include one year of I2/BEI experience); however, on a case-by-case basis, a badge and credentialed Law Enforcement officer with at least 8 years of experience conducting investigations on an accredited Local/State/or Federal Law Enforcement Agency is acceptable.
  • The individual must be able to demonstrate that they have effectively operated alone for at least one year in support of tactical, strategic and special operations forces.
  • At least one prior deployment (in a military or civilian capacity) to Iraq or Afghanistan is desired.
  • Currently possess an active DoD TS/SCI security clearance and maintain it for the duration of employment on this task.
  • Proficient with the use of MS Office applications.
  • Able to work independently or as part of cross-functional and cross-organizational teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Former military Intelligence Analyst, Special Operations Communications Sergeant, Criminal Investigations Special Agent, Human Intelligence Collector, Signals Intelligence Analyst or DoD joint service equivalent, or civilian equivalency.

Prior active duty military experience is desired.
