Leidos has an opening for a Joint Task Force Computer/Communications Operations Planner located at Shaw AFB. Candidates must possess a current Top Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred).
JOB DESCRIPTION: Applicants will develop and recommend improvements to Joint Task Force (JTF) deployment preparation and operational employment. Applicants will be responsible to initially evaluate and then oversee a robust training syllabus designed to prepare deploying personnel for Joint Task Force combat operations. Applicants must be a subject matter expert in computer and communication support to air operations and highly experienced in Joint Communications and Joint Airspace Command and Control procedures. The Joint Integration efforts include but are not limited to Joint Cyber, Communication, and Information Operations development, Air Support Operations Center Modernization, Combat Air Force/Special Operations Forces interoperability, analysis of Air-Ground cyber/communication/information operational lessons learned and evaluation of relevant / emerging technologies. Applicants will provide operational, tactical, and doctrinal advice to Air and Ground component commanders and their senior staffs; help develop senior leader strategies; assist with operational planning and 9th Air Force command and component unit activities. Applicants must possess Joint Computer, Communication, & Cyber support, Battlefield Airmen/Combat Arms-Maneuver or Theater Air Control System command and control; have served on a Major Command, Numbered Army equivalent or higher level staff. Qualifications:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 15 years' experience in relevant Service combat or command and control specialties; minimum of 7 years' experience in Joint Information/Communication operations; minimum of 5 years senior officer experience in Joint environment; Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required. A current TOP SECRET or higher security clearance is required. TS/SCI is preferred.
