Leidos is looking for a Financial Planning & Analyst (FP&A) lead. This position will report to the Business Operations Lead and will be responsible for operational activities for a portfolio generating $~500M in annual sales. The candidate will be responsible for developing and driving financial forecasts, analyzing company results, and evaluating risks for all areas of the income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flows.  Activities will include leading cost reduction initiatives as well as the continued development of the planning systems and processes. Duties may include presenting key business insights and recommendations to the senior leadership in order to contribute to the process of determining a company's financial needs or goals for the future, and how to achieve them.
- Responsible for the consolidation of division’s AOP & Monthly financial forecast.
- Compilation of financial data for Monthly & Quarterly business reviews (MBR/QBR) and other deliverables.
- Tracking of overhead budgets.
- Support of Forward Pricing Rate Submissions and Audit Requests.
- Plan indirect expenditures and provide monthly variances analyses. Assist with /Compile Quarterly EACs and CSR required data.
- Perform cost allocation, setting up cost control systems, collecting data, controlling costs and preparing reports that maintain the company's cost accounting system.
- Assist in month-end closings.
- Responsible for quarterly financial Reviews (QFR) oversight & control. Responsible for cash management & capex. Oversee and manage the development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modeling tools.
- Work closely with the D&I Central FP&A team on key deliverables. 



- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 12 years of experience relevant to financial planning and analysis.
- Experience working in government contracting firm.
- Experience with EXCEL, PowerPoint, the Hyperion Financial Reporting tool (Horizon or LPAS Legacy instances, Cost-point).
- Ability to aggregate and analyze large volumes of data.
- Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal and external.
- Knowledge of FASB and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Demonstrated in depth understanding of common business and cost drivers, financial statement analysis, and deep-dive analysis.
-Prefer local candidate, but can be remote depending on qualifications.
- A Masters in Business Administration.
- CPA certification.
- Program finance experience.
