Mechanical Engineer Intern
Leidos is seeking talented Mechanical Engineering students for summer intern opportunities at our Bridgewater, VA office.
Selected candidates will assist with the design, documentation, manufacturing oversight, installation, and testing of mechanical systems that support sensor integration for multiple fixed wing aircraft programs.
The position will provide the candidate with a valuable opportunity to work with a skilled team of engineers and scientists in cutting edge fields. Candidate must be currently enrolled from an accredited university and have completed at least two years of college level course work.
Requirements: Current student (junior and above) pursuing Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or closely related field. Must have Software proficiency : MS Office suite, Autodesk Inventor, Solidworks is strongly desired. Minimum of 3.0 GPA
Candidate must be able to obtain a DOD Secret security clearance which requires US citizenship.
