The Defense & Intelligence Group of Leidos has an opening for a Program Site Manager located in Kandahar, Afghanistan in support of the SS-AISR program.

As the Program Site Manager, you  will oversee Ground and Flight Operations involving Airborne Sensor Operations, Mission Equipment Maintenance and associated logistical support. You will provide leadership and advance expertise in ISR Operations, and you will primarily interface with the local Government customer ensuring Program requirements are met.

Primary Responsibilities
-Works independently under general guidance of the Program Management team.
-Manage and maintain customer relationships to ensure SS-AISR adjusts to meet customers intent
-Manage and mentor Program Personnel to ensure requirements are met, processes are streamlined and implemented throughout the work force
-Brief the Program status to local and remote Government customers
-Direct daily Operations and associated tasks
-Establishing priorities, set deadlines, identify efficiencies and make recommendations to PM for continuous improvement
-Mentor subordinate personnel implementing a culture of growth

Basic Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related experience, or 6+ years with a Master's degree.  Additional years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
-ISR Operations experience required; 4+ years
-Must be articulate and able to clearly present information to large groups and executive staff
Previous experience in the following positions
-Leading teams in CENTCOM environment involving 24/7 Operations with the ability to make timely decisions
-Prior experience as a Site Lead
-SOCOM (Special Operations Command) Airborne Sensor Operator
-Manage Flight & Ground Safety
-Valid U.S. passport for at least 3 years.
-Ability to read, write and speak English
-Must be able to meet CENTCOM CRC medical minimum standards
-Must be able to meet deployment training minimum standards
 -Completion of Customer required International Readiness Certifications prior to deployment.
 -Failure to complete any of these actions within 60 days of accept will result in rescinding of the offer.
-ACTIVE DOD Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
