Program Summary 
This unique systems engineer opportunity will allow you to participate on a high-visibility DoD/Intel program that provides software design, development, and component testing to an important customer in the cyber arena.  More specifically, it has been the development contract for a major systems acquisition program within the one of the DoD's premier Cyberwarfare organizations to modernize the infrastructure used for managing its mission. 

Job Summary:
As a Systems Engineer on this team, you will trade ideas and grow technically while producing new ideas and concepts.  The engineer will be responsible for establishing a data model for a specific program. This model will be established to encompass all the data information required to effectively release and retrieve a tool from inventory.   
Other responsibilities include: 
Define and analyze data requirements
Map legacy data stores and formats to Enterprise micro-formats
Create new data structures / micro-formats
Perform architectural alignment with the Enterprise Logical Data Model and other enterprise formats
Develop and maintain domain logical data model artifact:
Logical Data Models (LDM)
Data Element Dictionaries (DED)
Physical Data Models (PDM)
Interface Control Documents (ICD)
Data format specifications
Model release documentation
User Guides
Data harmonization and mapping

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics, Computer Science or related field of study 
Fifteen (15) years experience performing and providing technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems to include requirements analysis and functional allocation, conducting systems requirements reviews, developing Concepts of Operation and interface standards, developing system architectures, and performing technical/non-technical assessment and management as well as end-to-end flow analysis.
Four (4) years experience leading, providing technical supervision, and guiding other mid-level and junior-level engineering personnel; solving varied technical/scientific problems; and generating and reviewing designs for technical accuracy, completeness and appropriateness in light of objectives, budget, and schedule. 
Experience with Object Oriented and Structured development methodologies, networks, data storage, data modeling, data ontologies, security architectures and CASE tool selection and use. 
Experience with architecture framework methodologies.
Desired Professional Experience: 
A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics is highly desired. 
Experience working in an Agile environment.
