JOB DESCRIPTION: This sub family is responsible for performing tasks relating but not limited to Maximo Database Management System applications, including definition, design, structure, documentation, upgrades, long-range requirements, operational guidelines, and protection. Duties may include entering and reviewing data within the database, ensuring user data integrity, maintaining database support tools, database tables and dictionaries, and making recommendations regarding enhancements and/or improvements. Other areas of Production Control support required by the program could be service ticket dispatch support, technical library support, maintaining reports, understanding job related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while meeting the program's safety and quality standards.
IMPACT: Works on day-to-day objectives with limited impact beyond the scope of own work area/ project team. Works under supervision on less complex projects/ assignments.
COMPLEXITY: Solves simple, routine technical problems following established procedures and policies. Develops products, solutions, processes using basic principles, theories and concepts within own technical specialty.
COMMUNICATION: Communicates with peers to explain facts, basic analysis, processes and practices related to area.
KNOWLEDGE: Requires basic knowledge of and ability to apply principles, theories, and concepts of narrow technical domain.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires BS degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.
