Description:
Leidos is searching for a Systems Engineer in Philadelphia, PA to support the customer's SPAWAR mission. An active TS/SCI clearance is required in order to be considered for this project.  

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

Performing security systems engineering involving various computer hardware and software operating systems and application solutions in both a standalone and in LAN/WAN configurations.

Evaluation and assessment of security features and/or vulnerability of various operating systems as defined by NSA, NIST, DISA (STIGS) and USCYBERCOM.

Performing IA vulnerability testing using system test tools; e.g. NMap, Nessus, Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP)

Reviewing systems engineering requirements and specifications.  

Implementing DoD and Federal IA Certification and Accreditation Process, IA Security controls and developing and maintaining associated certification and accreditation documentation.

Defining cyber requirements and providing guidance and direction related to security technologies;identifying and implementing cybersecurity design and preparing maintaining engineering and security related documentation.

Defining and developing cybersecurity requirements, design and architecture artifacts, strategy, plans, and policies; prior work performing and/or providing guidance on vulnerability assessments to include defining, negotiating, and executing Certification and Accreditation Programs.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications: 

Active TS/SCI clearance 

AS and 10+ years of prior relevant experience OR BS and 8+ years of prior relevant experience OR MS with 6+ years of prior relevant experience

5+ years of experience related to Information Assurance (IA)/Cyber Engineering requirements, determination, development and implementation.

Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Xacta

Prior experience in security systems engineering involving various computer hardware and software operating systems and application solutions in both a standalone and in LAN/WAN configurations.

Experience with security features and/or vulnerability of various operating systems as defined by NSA, NIST, DISA (STIGS) and USCYBERCOM.

Experience with IA vulnerability testing and related and system test tools; e.g. NMap, Nessus, Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP)

Understanding of systems engineering requirements, specifications, and experience implementing DoD and Federal IA Certification and Accreditation Process, IA Security controls and developing and maintaining associated certification and accreditation documentation.

Experience in defining cyber requirements and providing guidance and direction related to security technologies; experience identifying and implementing cybersecurity design and preparing maintaining engineering and security related documentation.

Experience in defining and developing cybersecurity requirements, design and architecture artifacts, strategy, plans, and policies; prior work performing and/or providing guidance on vulnerability assessments to include defining, negotiating, and executing Certification and Accreditation Programs.

Experience collaborating with program and engineering disciplines and ensuring the cybersecurity solution alternatives

Experience in conducting cyber security audits to ensure appropriate implementation and compliance of the security posture

Experience in defining security development and test efforts implementation of security controls of network devices, databases, operating systems, and hardware and software components; prior work conducting technical and non-technical IA trade studies, analysis and reviews.

Prior experience documenting and completing RMF artifacts and documenting to support RMF controls.

Experience developing scripts to install & configure registry settings, patches, updates, etc.

Experience in performing analysis on cybersecurity collected data and test results

Experience with information security toolset including anti-virus, Vulnerability Assessment, HIDS/NIDS.

Experience with network and system security administration, including operating system security configuration and account management best practices for UNIX (HP-UX & Solaris), MS Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and CISO system.

Working knowledge of cyber security toolset including anti-virus, HIDS, NIDS, and HBSS

Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
