The Global Services Group has an opening for a Journeyman Administrative Assistant (JAA) to support the National Ground Intelligence Center. The successful candidate will report to the assigned Leidos Program Manager.

The Journeyman Administrative Assistant (JAA) provides administrative services to the program in response to government and Operations Support Officer guidance. The JAA trains and mentors Novice Administrative Assistants. The JAA closely coordinates administrative activities with Branch Senior Principal Analysts, Support Officers, Principal Support Officers and Senior Principal Analysts. The JAA performs his/her primary duties OCONUS and is non-deployable. Support includes, but is not limited to, general office administration; record and file keeping; office supply management; in and out-processing of personnel, pre-deployment preparation and deployment of personnel; and maintenance of recall and notification rosters. The JAA prepares reports on product production and other aspects of the analytic mission to support planning by the government PM, COR and Operations TM.


This position requires individuals with 5 years of office administrative experience. Experience writing, coordinating and disseminating correspondence, managing file systems, performing general office administration is required. The candidate will be experienced with JWICS, SIPRNET and NIPRNET tools and databases used to support administrative activities. The candidate will have a working knowledge of Microsoft® Office® tools, including SharePoint®.

Experience in Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 42A, or DoD joint service or civilian equivalent is desired. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Bachelors Degree Preferred.
