Leidos has an opening for a Security Officer to support the National Ground Intelligence Center. The successful candidate will report to the assigned Program Manager within GSBU.
The Security officer provides personnel and document security support. The Security Officer works closely with the S2 and Special Security Officer (SSO) to manage candidate clearances and access. The Security Officer in-processes and out-processes personnel and arranges security in-briefs and debriefs for appropriate levels of access, including SI, TK, Gamma, HUMINT Control System (HCS), NATO, and programs requiring access information controlled under Alternative or Compensatory Control Measures (ACCM), or Special Category (SPECAT) programs. The security officer ensures candidate personnel are properly maintained in the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), and as necessary in the Army Clearance Access Verification System (ACAVS). The Security Officer will monitor candidate compliance with annual security training requirements including Intelligence Oversight and other INSCOM, DA, DoD and Theater security requirements. The Security Officer coordinates security and clearance actions with the Operations Team, and Branch Senior Principal Analysts and the candidate security manager. The Security Officer performs his/her primary duties CONUS and is non-deployable. Candidate employees filling this position will be considered key personnel.
This position requires individuals with 5 years of personnel and document security experience, or equivalent amount of experience as a Special Security Officer. The candidate will be experienced with JWICS, SIPRNET and NIPRNET tools, including JPAS and ACAVS and databases used to support security activities. The candidate will have a working knowledge of Microsoft® Office® tools, including SharePoint®.
A high school diploma or GED is required.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
