Information Assurance Engineer
Leidos is currently seeking an Information Assurance Engineer with strong vulnerability analysis background. You will be responsible for protecting the organization's information and information systems from unauthorized access by analyzing C/C++ and Java code for vulnerabilities. Your duties may include reviewing differences from baseline code to ensure modifications do not increase risk to the GCCS-J Family of Systems and communicating findings to the developers and government stakeholders. You must have experience developing with C/C++ and Java including understanding of the issues, both security and best practice, inherent in C/C++ and Java. You must be capable of referencing and providing guidance on C/C++ and Java secure coding and best practices to developers along with providing secure coding analysis using Fortify and other code analysis tools. Specific experience working with the Fortify Analysts Workbench is required. In addition, you need to understand the risk and exploitability of various types of coding vulnerabilities and demonstrate the ability to rank vulnerabilities based on the implementation of various mitigations.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Requires Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10+ years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain.
- Candidate must have strong communication and writing skills.
- Must possess and maintain CISSP, or have equivalent relative experience
- Must have experience working with vulnerability analysis and assessment in a C/C++ and Java application environment
- Must have experience with Fortify
