Signal Processing Engineer
Leidos is seeking a Signal Processing Engineer to work in Arlington, VA.
Job Description: Signal processing focusing on data analysis, algorithm development and evaluation in the RF (radar,communications) and optical domains. Strong emphasis on novel and advanced algorithm development, performance simulation, and analysis using simulated and real data in both time series and spectral domains. The candidate will be expected to quickly learn and then reuse existing signal processing library. The candidate should be able to work independently and with a team to develop innovative solutions to challenging technical problems. Ability to work on multiple projects is required.

Required skills: Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math) with 8+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 6+ years of experience.
Strong analytical skills in the areas of digital filtering, spectral estimation, detection and estimation theory, linear algebra, and stochastic processes. Experience with Matlab is expected.
