The Electronic Warfare Division has an immediate need for a Missile System Simulation Software engineer.
This is a technical senior or principal engineering position performing integration of missile component models (guidance, navigation, control, aerodynamics, seeker, etc.) into a missile software simulation. The candidate will apply their knowledge of software to a) continue development of an existing framework architecture, b)) integrate component model
software developed in heterogeneous (Matlab/Simulink, FORTRAN, C++) development environments into a C++ missile system simulation, and c) support use of the missile system simulation for ground test verification.

Complexity: develop innovative solutions to complex missiles simulation software integration by best practices. Employ ingenuity and creativity to develop and integrate new capabilities to achieve customer performance objectives.
Communication: Must communicate daily with customer program leadership, Leidos, and a mixed contractor / industry team. Ability to perform in a team environment is required. Must develop a clear understanding of customer goals and objectives and shape work activities to satisfy them. Must present both verbal and written status on a regular basis.
Knowledge: Experience with missile simulation modeling and simulation at the Six-Degree-of-Freedom level; and proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and C++ are required. Demonstrated experience working in a classified environment is required.
Education: Requires a Master degree in Computer Science, Aerospace, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent, and 10+ years’ experience in missile simulation software.
