Sr. Digital Design Engineer
Leidos currently has an opportunity for a Sr. Digital Design Engineer to help our DoD program achieve critical mission success by supporting a quick reaction capability environment, located in our Columbia MD offices.
The successful candidate will be responsible for Creating solutions to meet given performance requirements by making engineering trade-offs, analyzing requirements and investigating technical solutions. Creating and modifying engineering plans, drawings, and schematics. Validating functional, operational and user requirements. Identifying new and existing products and technologies to solve design, development and operational problems. Specifies and operates equipment including scripting and programming of automation interfaces.
To be considered for this position, candidate must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
Candidate should have a Master’s Degree and 15 plus years of experience demonstrating an understanding of signal processing, digital and analog circuits, interface circuits.
Candidate must currently be cleared at a TS/SCI with a Poly level (Candidates without this clearance will not be considered)
Preferred Qualifications / Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
Network engineer experience with installation, maintenance and improvement initiatives.
