The Defense & Intelligence Group has a current opening for a Senior Industrial Program Security Officer in the Northern Virginia area supporting the U.S. Government. The position requires a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph and a minimum 10 years of relevant experience. The position also requires CONUS travel in order to conduct security inspections. 

Coordinates security requirements to support employees, systems, and products 
Provides USG level technical expertise concerning industrial security, physical security and information security
Interprets security policy on matters pertaining to processing, dissemination, and controlling of classified materials
Coordinates security issues with program management and members of the IC as required to support systems and products in SCIF and collateral environments
Conducts staff assistance visits and facility reviews and renders recommendations and possibly impact statements
Develops solutions and conveys to internal and external customers, as required, in implementing security requirements
Updates and maintains appropriate records of facility reviews and security processes
Prepares and delivers briefings to internal and external customers

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
Experience with standard Microsoft suite products (Word, Excel, Power Point)
Ability to effectively utilize the customer’s security databases
Ability to effectively communicate processes and procedures to customer base
Ability to interact with other customer components to facilitate program requirements
Possess outstanding customer service skills in order to meet high demand requirements
Possess expert level of knowledge of ICD 705 relevant to SCIF construction, accreditation, and maintenance
Possess a working knowledge of INFOSEC requirements in order to appropriately coordinate with Program INFOSEC team
Possess a working knowledge of CI as it relates to program protection
Possess a working level knowledge of ICD 704 requirements in order to appropriately facilitate processing requirements
Ability to travel to contractor sites (CONUS) in order to conduct security inspections
Strong interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relationships with team members and customer
Strong oral and written communication skills sufficient to compose and deliver responses to customers’ questions in a clear and concise manner, report the status of assigned tasks and projects
Prior experience as an Industrial Security Representative, SSO, SSR, SCCO or FSO
Self-starter with ability to establish priorities, resolve immediate security issues, and reach back to program manager to resolve issues
Comfortable working with senior management
