Description:
The Defense & Intelligence Group has a current opening for a Junior Systems Integrator/Configuration Management Coordinator in the Northern Virginia/Tysons Corner area supporting the U.S. Government. The position requires a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph. The primary role of the Systems Integrator is to provide customer program support in the way of hardware and software configuration management, board support and slide configuration, requirements analysis, documentation support, tracking of discrepancies and action items.


Qualifications:

The primary role of the Systems Integrator is to provide customer program support in the way of hardware and software configuration management, board support and slide configuration, requirements analysis, documentation support, tracking of discrepancies and action items.


Bachelor’s degree or four years relevant experience
TS/ISSA with poly
Three to five years of training and/or experience performing systems integration to include interface management and requirements development and documentation
Provide systems integration and engineering support to a major government program office.  Support multiple COTRs and work closely with multiple government teams associated with requirements development, systems integration and engineering tasks.  Coordinate interface and technical requirements and communicate potential issues along with actionable recommendations for mitigation or connection of the issues.
Ensure mission integrity, performance and reliability of the client’s systems through proper integration.
Specific support will focus on integrating new system components into existing baseline.  
Interface with management to establish, manage and control interfaces of the individual subsystems or segments will operate together.  
Efforts will involve design, development, integration and verification work with a heavy emphasis on requirements, interfaces and verification and readiness to include schedule analysis, risk, discrepancy tracking, CDRL reviews.
Ability to work closely with government COTRs and SE/SI team and communicate technically on programmatic milestones affecting system acquisition, design, development, test and deployment.

Participate in program planning to ensure efforts are in-line with management expectations.

Must be familiar with government lifecycle development and programmatics.

Ability to produce and review technical documents, briefing packages, readiness review presentations, configuration management packages, discrepancy reporting and tracking, and communicate status updates to government COTRs and SMEs.

Tracking action items and utilizing automated tools such as DOORs or other requirements software packages.

Ability to follow associated research efforts as they evolve into current system baselines.

Experience with MS Project and Visio

Evaluate technical proposal and documentation.
Intermediate knowledge of systems engineering / integration life cycle (Concept Development, Requirements, Design, Testing, Installation, and Operations and Maintenance)

Demonstrated knowledge of acquisition process.
