The health products and solutions group is currently seeking a Scrum Master to support a large healthcare contract in Baltimore. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Candidate will work as part of the program to develop agile practices within the CMS. Will function as scrum master on a large CMS program maintaining and implementing major changes to multiple custom coded software systems and COTS based systems.
A successful candidate will be able to:
- promote agile thinking
- conduct team building and training exercises
- mentor management on organizational structure
- coach new scrum masters and product owners
- Work with the customer to maximize the benefits of Agile practices within the constraints of dictated documentation and more traditional review gate requirements.
BS degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience planning and facilitating the Agile / Scrum development process.
Experience in the “servant leader” role of removing barriers to productivity, monitoring progress, and coaching team members on their roles.
Must have successful experience reporting and communicating status and progress to stakeholders (e.g., estimates, velocity, burn down charts, etc.).
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP) preferred
All candidates supporting the CMS programs must have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years prior in order to be considered.
