This leader will support the Information Technology and Security
Solutions (IT&SS) portfolio as the senior program executive
responsible for growing and executing business with the Federal
Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Successful candidate
will be PMP certified and have at least 20 years of program
management experience. The person in this position will work
directly with the FEMA senior leadership team and the IT&SS
leadership team to ensure success of all aspects of the portfolio:
team leadership, client relations, oversight of strategic
initiatives, capture activities, and other support responsibilities.
*Basic Qualifications Direct experience providing solutions to FEMA for at least 10
years and a proven record of capturing and executing business
with FEMA. The successful leader will have demonstrated current
and significant relationships with FEMA executives and mid-level
managers, particularly in the IT operations and development
areas. This leader will be responsible for managing large,
complex IT application/system development, engineering, and
sustainment efforts. This person will need to be very familiar
with the DHS Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SELC). Experience
in leading teams of 50+ people and financial responsibility
exceeding $100M. Successful record of capturing new business
at FEMA for opportunities greater than $50M.
Requirements include demonstrated ability to manage complex
projects, teams, and groups. Must have strong organizational
skills, excellent written and spoken communications skills, and
ability to mentor others.
PMP certification required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret security
Desired skills CISSP and ITIL certifications desired. Agile development
certifications a strong plus.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires a BA/BS or equivalent experience and 12+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10+ years or prior relevant experience. Generally has 7+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects.
