The Geospatial Analyst position directly supports key customer mission requirements for maritime navigation safety. The position requires GIS software skills to analyze, manipulate, and transform geographic data into military specified compliance, while maintaining weekly and monthly milestone schedule requirements. Candidates with keen attention to detail and rigorous organizational skills are highly desired. The position may also require cartographic rendering of datasets into military specified finished products; i.e., print-ready charts. Candidates with strong cartography experience who can demonstrate effective throughput are desired. Otherwise, candidates must have strong GIS background, or related education, and must be able to demonstrate comfort using the Esri ArcGIS software suite. Candidates with direct experience editing and updating geodatabases in ArcMap are desired, to include experience with the Editor, Production Editing, and Topology toolbars. Experience with Maritime, Aeronautical, or land-based GIS data is all relevant. No clearance is required, but only those who are eligible to receive one should apply.
