Operations and Logistics Services within Leidos Defense and Intelligence has an opening for a Chief Engineer working in our Colorado Springs, CO office providing technical leadership supporting our Space Situational Awareness opportunities.
Lead a team of engineers, logisticians, and technicians in the sustainment, maintenance, and modernization of ground-based sensors and infrastructure supporting the DoD’s Space Situational Awareness mission. In this position you will be the primary technical interface to the U.S. Government’s program and technical teams. Formulate and review project plans, determine cost, and ensures conformance to work standards. Communicate with all levels of management for planning and control of this program.
Bachelor’s degree with 8 or more years of directly related experience.
Must have 5 plus years of experience sustaining and maintaining Space Situational Awareness Ground-based telescopes and radars.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret Clearance.
