Description:

The Origin program supports several customer networks on several different platforms. We are responsible for modern system implementations, system O&M, C&A, continuous monitoring, Information security and communications security on all of these systems. This gives us the flexibility to work on and be proficient in several IT disciplines. Because of the totality of support we provide, there is a true number of career paths that one can choose to mature and grow into the IT professional they want to be. The individual selected for this position will develop and manage the programs property control activities to ensure continual accountability of government property and assets in accordance with applicable government policies and regulations. You will ensure property accountability records are maintained and accurate. You will conduct periodic property audits. You will provide guidance to the team and customers on government Asset Management policies and regulations.

 

Candidate must possess TS/SCI with poly to be considered.
 Solid working experience managing hardware asset in federal government environments. Government Furnished Property Management 
Experience. Experience in defining and maintaining process and procedures to ensure accurate record keeping of assets throughout their life cycle. 
Strong computer skills to include experience with an automated system designed to manage inventory management. 
Good communication skills to work with customers, management, and technical teams. Strong organizational skills. 
ITIL Foundation and/or Practitioners certified Expertise in US Government Inventory Control data bases desired.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Typically requires a BA degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience. EFFECTIVE DATE: 08/13/2016
