Leidos is currently seeking a Router Team Operator

Description:  Individual will Serve as router team operator for the 26th Network Operations Squadron (26 NOS) at Maxwell Air force Base-Gunter Annex, Alabama.  Responsible for maintaining, operating, defending, and managing over 250+ Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router (NIPR) and 300+ Secure Internet Protocol Router (SIPR) Service Delivery Point (SDP) routers.  Responsible for working with other organizations such as Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and Integrated Network Operations and Security Centers (I-NOSC) to ensure availability of network resources to customers.  Responsibilities include: 

·Configure and maintain 26 NOS operated NIPR and SIPR Service Delivery Points (SDP).

·Configure and maintain the AF common user Virtual Private Network (AFVPN).

·Configure and maintain the AF Voiceover Secure Internet Protocol (VoSIP) enclave.

·Special projects as assigned.

Required Education:  Military specialty training or certification in addition to minimum experience identified below.

Required Experience:  1-2 years of experience ensuring mission success by providing successful router management and operations in a DoD unclassified/classified networking environment.

Desired Experience: 

Prior 26 NOS router administration experience highly desirable.  Military cyber experience desirable.

Required Clearance:  Secret with the ability to obtain a Top Secret within 90 days of starting in new role.

Required DoD 8570 Certification:   Requires DoD 8570 Certification: IAT-II

Certification within 90 days of hiring.

Travel:  No regular travel required; responsibilities may include short or no-notice travel to troubleshoot system issues at remote locations and or support program management office operational, developmental, integration, and test and evaluation activities.
