The Electronic Warfare and Signals Intelligence Systems Division of the Sensors and Phenomenology Operation is seeking a Deputy Program Manager (DPM) for a quick reaction capability (QRC) Aeronautical Systems program. The position is designed to specifically support the Program Manager in activities such as managing the budget, spend plans, integrated master schedule, resource loaded network, monthly status reports, assisting with personnel oversight, and managing internal and external deliverables.
-Assist the Program Manager, Financial Support Staff, and Contracts/Subcontracts Officers in managing multiple efforts in the portfolio consisting of FFPs IDIQs and CPFFs contract types.
-Manage financial and contractual aspects of the program, as directed by the PM.
-Assist the Program Manager in proposal management, proposal work statements, and work with pricing team and procurement for BOE and BOM pricing.
-Will work with program management and technical team representatives to identify, analyze and report cost and schedule variances.
You must minimally meet the below qualifications to be considered for this position.
-Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related with at least eight (8) years of related experience, including experience on multiple contract types, or Master’s degree with at least six (6) years of related experience.
-Possess a strong background and demonstrated performance in government contracting, particularly related to financial aspects and standard business practices (e.g., familiarity with and ability to interpret statements of work, contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, etc.).
-Demonstrated experience with financial analysis, including variance analysis and advanced MS Excel skills.
-Possess strong problem-solving, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills.
-Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project and Outlook).
-Ability to obtain a DOD SECRET security clearance.
-PMP certification. QRC program project control / financial analysis experience.
-Familiarity and/or experience with the Leidos Program and Risk Review processes.
-Experience with contract financial management tools (e.g. CostPoint, Fusion, etc.)
