Leidos is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager for our Integration & Logistics Center in Chesapeake, VA. The successful candidate will oversee the sustainment and modernization in support of CDSA Dam Neck for the Integrated Training Systems; including Battle Force Tactical Training (BFTT). Oversight will include shipboard installations and C5ISR Integration and Interoperability facility support. The candidate will be responsible for the management of all life-cycle support activities for current and future fielded integrated training systems. Additionally, candidate is responsible for planning, organizing, securing, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific program goals and objectives.


Candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external customers regarding all aspects of program execution, including schedule management and deliverable management; monitoring/positively influencing/reporting to Program Management financial performance, schedule performance, and Estimates to Complete (ETCs); and serve as program SME for all business plans, and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms, and conditions of contract.


Additionally, this position requires the ability to provide technical support for Navy Modernization Process by maintaining the matrix of Ship Change Documents (SCDs) and planned installations, monitoring progress of SCDs, scheduling alterations in Selected Restricted Availabilities (SRAs), Windows of Opportunity, and by supporting Installation customers. Reporting requirements include on-time delivery of technical CDRLs and, development of presentations for Quarterly Program Review (QPR), including Financial Performance, Customer Satisfaction, Operational Status, Quality Management, Emerging Programmatic Risk/Opportunities, and Workforce Sustainability.


Candidate will ultimately be responsible for cost and performance across the product support value chain from design through disposal; leveraging the entire program portfolio from systems engineering to parts management to positively impact the system design from its inception throughout the life cycle; and maximizing system availability, effectiveness, and capability of in-service systems in their operational environments.

- Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of full-time professional experience in Project Management and/or Systems Engineering. A minimum of three years must include full-time experience at the system level in the following areas:
o Senior level engineering requirements definition, system design parameters, concepts operation, risk assessment, producibility studies/analyses, test and evaluation, post-delivery support
o Project Management of a complex engineering project requiring task effort monitoring through Cost Schedule and Deliverable status determination 
- Demonstrated proficiency with customer interface, task execution planning, staffing, contract management, subcontract management, budgeting and cost control, quality assurance management, and personnel management 
- Experience in creating and presenting material to senior Government officials and corporate executives
- MS Office Expertise, including MS Project 
- Previous CAM experience 
- Large scale Alteration Installation Team (AIT) modernization program execution, including advanced planning, installation planning, staffing, and schedule development
- Also acceptable, Masters with prior relevant experience.(equivalent experience/additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree)

- PMP Certification with current credentials
- P&L responsibility for $10M+ annually 
- Generally has 7+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects.
