The DoD Information Systems Division of Leidos has a career opportunity for a Project Controller, contingent upon contract award, in San Antonio, TX.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the program schedule and earned value management of program accounts by tracking resource loaded plans and reporting progress against those plans. The candidate will communicate with the Program Office, Engineering, Finance and Procurement in process of creating and reporting status against the plans on the Air Force Personnel and Pay System (AFIPPS) contract.
Candidate will support establishing and maintaining the cost/schedule baselines; pre-defined contract WBS and related dictionaries, schedules or Resource Loaded Networks (RLN's) where applicable; variance analyses; preparation of written and verbal reports to management regarding cost schedule variances.
Significant interface with Project Managers, Contracts, Senior Technical personnel and shared services to support accurate and timely Estimates at Completion (EACs) in parallel with development of forecasts.
May participate in customer changes or new proposals, analysis of requirements, cost inputs, and support program reviews.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting on cost plus contract. The Engineering Planner communicates and coordinates with all disciplines across the business including Program Management, Technical Staff, Finance, Contracts, Procurement, and Human Resources.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Manages cost/schedule baselines
- Prepares internal and external variance reports on the schedule and labor
- Supports CAMs develop and maintain Estimates at Completion (EACs) as required and/or needed
- Prepares/supports financial and schedule status for monthly Project Management Review (PMR)
- Assists with risk analysis and mitigation activities
- Supports working groups as needed
Education and Experience:
Typically requires high school diploma or equivalent and 1 – 3 years of prior relevant experience.
Qualifications and Required Skills:
Must be US Citizen.
