Senior Database Architect
The Defense and Intelligence Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Senior Database Architect to work in the San Antonio, Texas office.
This is an exciting opportunity to use your skills and experience to support the Air Force Integrated Personnel and Pay System (AFIPPS) mission. In this mission, Leidos will provide IT services to develop and deliver a payroll system to support all Air Force Active, Reserve and Guard uniformed personnel.
Perform Oracle 12c database and Oracle Enterprise Business Suite (EBS) payroll application requirements review, fit/gap analysis and database architecture design for the AFIPPS.
Develop database detailed designs and installation scripts.
Support Agile software development and integration, testing, data migration and deployment of the AFIPPS.
Participate in engineering design reviews, and support integrated product teams with external agencies.
Education and Experience:
Typically requires BS degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience.
Must be US Citizen.
Previous experience with database architecture design and implementation of large enterprise IT systems is required.
Previous experience with administering Oracle 12c enterprise databases and Oracle EBS applications is required.
The ability to obtain an IT-II Tier 3 security clearance is required.
The ability to acquire the necessary cybersecurity certifications is required.
Experience with data architecture design and cybersecurity requirements compliance in a Department of Defense computing environment is highly desirable. Working knowledge of the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Human Capital Management (HCM) or an enterprise-level payroll system is a plus. Oracle professional certifications are also a plus.
