Description:

Leidos currently has an opportunity for a Program Coordinator – Logistics Manager to work at our customer site at Ft. Meade Maryland.

 

The successful candidate will use their experience to help the DoD program achieve critical mission success by supporting a quick reaction capability production environment as a program coordinator and logistics manager.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

 

Assisting with program activities coordination ensuring that customer site equipment is maintained and ready for deployment to test sites and mission locations. Working closely with program management to ensure equipment builds are completed in time for test site or mission deployment. Operation of company owned vehicles to deliver and move equipment among sites. Primarily between Columbia and Ft. Meade.

 

Occasional travel to test sites where the person will coordinate equipment for test and may also be required to perform repair or alteration to equipment as needed to further development efforts. Additional duties may entail assembling equipment onto and off aircraft.

 

Some mission equipment tracking. Candidate needs to be a quick learner with a focus on technical ability and experience. Willing to teach the logistics aspect which will involve some paperwork and database tracking.


Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

The successful candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree and 10 plus years’ experience or 15 plus years’ experience in lieu of a degree.

Experience in managing electronic and mechanical fabrication, electronics, mechanical assembly techniques, parts, quality assurance and sound design, fabrication and testing practices.

Candidate must currently be cleared at a TS/SCI with a Poly level (Candidates without this clearance will not be considered)

Candidates with the following desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

Logistics in a manufacturing environment

Knowledge of production, production control and mechanical/electronic fabrication and scheduling

Ability to read and interpret schematics and engineering drawings

Skilled in troubleshooting electronic problems, testing mechanical systems and electronic circuits.

Ability to lift and move equipment and install systems into operating platforms 

Logistics in a manufacturing environment

Knowledge of production, production control and mechanical/electronic fabrication and scheduling

Ability to read and interpret schematics and engineering drawings

Skilled in troubleshooting electronic problems, testing mechanical systems and electronic circuits.

Ability to lift and move equipment and install systems into operating platforms
