Description:

 The Operations & Logistics Solutions operation currently has an opening for two Field Installation Technicians.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Field Service Technician will be responsible for the installation and integration of Air Traffic Control and Landing Systems (ATCALS) Navigational Aid (NAVAID) equipment. Current experience and expertise with NAVAIDs or network/communication equipment is required and with NAVAIDS equipment most desired. Responsibilities will consist of installation of the NAVAID shelters and communication gear, testing, customer signoff, clean-up, preparation of reports and participation in telephone conferences as required.   The position requires extended travel (up to 4-6 weeks at a time) in and out of a military airbase in the Area of Responsibility (AOR).


Qualifications:

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS:

High School diploma and 2+ years related experience. Military background a positive. Familiar with reading and using military technical orders.

DESIRED SKILLS:

NAVAIDs, network, and communications equipment experience, good written and verbal communication skills, the ability to quickly and independently solve issues in the field, and past experience with customer interaction.  Technical military school training.

CLEARANCE:

Secret required.
