Program Summary
As a Full Stack Developer you will have the opportunity to support a unique development team on a large, multi-year contract for the development, integration, deployment and sustainment of large, collection systems.  The work that’s being done on this Leidos-led, prime contract is extremely important to the government and offers its team members the opportunity to work autonomously and explore new technologies.  

Job Summary
The Full Stack Developer will support a unique fast paced development team. The teams pair off into teams of two and are responsible for adding incremental functionality to an existing software application. This position requires someone that can pick up technologies very quickly, operate independently, and work with high level requirements. The teams collaborate to come up with strategic ideas on how to satisfy customer requirements. While standard release schedules are typical, on many occasions, the developers will tackle critical quick reaction items. This will require rapid development with immediate deployment. User input is then provided in order to make necessary fixes and enhancements. New features are not defined at a detailed level. This allows for flexibility, creativity and user interaction to figure out the best way YOU the developer want to implement things!

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field of study
Minimum of 8 years of software development using high level development languages (BS degree in Computer Science will count toward some of the required experience)
Within the last 7 years, 5 years of experience using LINUX, strong LINUX skills are required
Experience with the following is also required:
Strong JAVA (including frameworks) 
Full Stack development 
Requires the use of frameworks (spring boot, angular, django) to build both rapid prototypes and scalable full-stack products in both team and independent environments.
Familiarity with common design patterns (command pattern, strategy pattern, singleton pattern)
Experience with JUNITs
Self motivated, problem solver, very flexible
Familiarity with Javascript, Angular JS, HTML5
Preferred Qualifications
Scripting - Python, C, BASH
Relational databases (Postgres)
Knowledge of Docker
Familiarity with Jenkins, Gradel, NGINX, Eclipse or IntelliJ
Ability to setup a LINUX development environment and basic system administration
Familiar with telecommunications systems, SDH, OTN, web technologies, etc
