Leidos has a career opening for a Human Resources Manager located in Washington, DC.
Leidos is seeking a Human Resources Manager to enhance, design and deliver innovative HR solutions for the NISC program. The HR Manager will perform in a unique role as the lead HR business partner supporting a large FAA Program with multiple regionally dispersed customers. The HR Manager will lead a team of 2 HR professionals and work with regionally dispersed Program Leaders and Washington, DC based Contracts Management Office to support the program, and manage and implement HR solutions for the group.
Serves as an HR consultant and partner for the program. Provides talent management, organizational design and development, change management and project management expertise to a mission focused program that requires flexibility and innovative solutions. Provides thoughtful leadership and guidance to support the overall mission and HR service delivery. Ensures HR programs are effectively aligned to support a fast paced client organization. Subject matter expert and resource for the program providing both strategic and hands-on expertise with HR policy and practice. Extremely important to be able to develop strong working relationships with leadership enhancing a true program partnership that results in the client meeting mission objectives.
Partners with leaders and HR Centers of Expertise (COE’s) to develop strategies to fill talent gaps through talent acquisition, training and development. Serves as a strong liaison between HR COE’s and client groups.

•Provides thoughtful leadership and guidance to support the overall mission and HR service delivery.
•Ensures HR programs are effectively aligned to support a fast paced client organization.
•Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field and 8+ years of related experience including 4+ years of leading teams or projects. Must have broad HR expertise and strong business acumen
•Leadership, influence, executive coaching, teamwork and organizational development skills
•Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills; ability to create and deliver briefings to leaders/customers
•Ability to think strategically, provide direction, manage multiple projects and execute in a dynamic environment
•Ability to diagnose and support data-driven decision-making
•Ability to work at ease with a diverse set of clients that span multiple locations
•Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred
•10+ more years of relevant experience
•HR professional certification a plus
•Knowledge of Workday a plus
