Testing and Quality Assurance
Leidos has an immediate career opportunity for a Testing and Quality Assurance candidate at San Antonio, Texas.
The position located in San Antonio, TX ,supports the Military Personnel Data System (MilPDS) family of systems. The duties of the position include, develops, modifies, applies, and maintains standards for software quality operating methods, processes, systems and procedures.
Conducts software inspection, testing, verification and validation. Implements software development and maintenance processes and methods.
Ensures measures meet acceptable reliability standards.
Develops overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software quality program according to project, process and contract requirements and objectives.
Ensures that project and process control documentation are compliant with requirements, objectives and/or contract.
Reviews software design, change specifications, and plans against contractual and/or process requirements.
Performs or directs verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability.
Review, format, validate and track changes to test scenarios with Business Process Owners (BPOs).
Review software requirements modules and creates use cases and test scripts
Provide functional testing support to BPOs.
Execute tests against written requirements.
Consult with component leads and provides recommendations to testing working group.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of test plans.
Identify test defects - deviations track to closure.
Establish test records.
Education and Experience:
Typically requires high school diploma or equivalent and 1 – 3 years of prior relevant experience.
Must be US Citizen.
Background in Software Testing using either automated or manual test scripts.
Experience executing test scripts and scenarios for various software platforms.
Requires experience managing software test events and executing Software test
scenarios for HR web based applications.
Knowledge of SW test creation, execution, and documentation.
