Senior Software Developer
Develops enterprise software solutions to complement existing DOD software application. Coordinates software programming activities in tandem with other software development team members. Performs complex analysis in the design and implementation of software applications for computer-based systems. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of complex and conflicting variables. Exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Works in dynamic environment to meet project schedules and client performance requirements. Conducts root cause analysis and develops solutions when challenging project issues arise. Regularly interacts with management on matters concerning project development and execution. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures for completing assignments. Ability to complete complex and difficult assignments and clearly articulate complex technical solutions. Proficiency in computer applications, languages, technologies, agile development processes and procedures, advanced set-up and configurations, trouble shooting, and system design and/or capabilities are required for the position.
Required Education & Experience
- Must be a US citizen with ability to obtain a DoD security clearance; active secret clearance preferred.
- BS degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience.
- Agile and Scrum; Rule management System (preferably Drools); Wrote or worked on Workflow engine; TeamCity, regression test with Selenium WebDriver; JBOSS quartz; JMS; versioning applications - SVN, CVS; project monitoring application - JIRA; Bootstrap front-end framework; knowledge of DoD/government software development processes and U.S. military organizational structure and hierarchy.
