Description:

Job Description: The Defense & Intelligence Group of Leidos has an opening for a System Administrator at our customer site in Millington, TN.  This position supports the Electronic Military Personnel Record System (EMPRS) and applications maintained inside the BUPERS On-Line (BOL) Web Portal for the Navy Personnel Command. IT team that currently maintains 3 separate environments and will need to support an ongoing TECH Refresh to 2012 servers. Creating and supporting Powershell for installation, maintenance, and component creation and configuration. The candidate is responsible for installation, configuration, administration, support and maintenance of systems, including associated hardware. Duties may include updating to new systems, as well as support on current systems by tuning performance, allocating storage space, and implementing critical system patches. Candidate will work in both Windows and AIX Operating environments. This administrator must continuously work closely with the customer and users to determine hardware, software or system functional specifications.  They must be able to think independently and to work with other system administrators to solve complex system problems in order to maintain high operational around the clock readiness.

 

 


Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, with minimum of 8 years of professional experience; or 5 years of professional experience with a related Minimum 3+ years' experience with Microsoft SCCM (preferably with SCCM 2016). Experience with multiple SCCM modules to include: Virtual Machine Manager, Data Protection Manager, Configuration Manager, Operations Manager, Service Manager and Orchestration Manager.  Ability to work unsupervised. Understand, monitor, and perform customer support. Ability to communicate with detail as issues arise. Demonstrated experience with network, systems, and application monitoring and reporting. Experience working in Microsoft Server 2016 Secure Privileged Access Tiered structure. Must attain a Security+ CE certification prior to job start. Will need to attain a MICROSOFT CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL (MCP) Certification, or equivalent such as: MCSA, MCTS, MCITP-SA within the first 6 months from the date of hire. Must have or be able to attain a security clearance of an interim secret or higher.

 

Preferred Qualifications: It is preferable that the ideal candidate have experience with the following: DoD PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) certificate management; WAS security configuration and management and LDAP via Active Directory; SQL Server; DB2; and SIBus resource configuration and management.
