Site Lead / Help Desk Senior Service
Leidos has an opening for a Site Lead /Senior Service/Help Desk Specialist at Ft. Huachuca, AZ to join our team in supporting the G2 Army MI Enterprise which provides IT repair, maintenance, operations, logistics, and engineering services to help ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of Army Military Intelligence Enterprise IT Systems.
The Site Lead will supervise ten or more Help Desk professionals that provide Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) aligned service desk support services for an organization comprised mostly of a Microsoft Enterprise software environment residing on multiple networks.
-Serves as the site POC for the local Government customer .
-Provide Technical/Supervisor oversight to ten or more Help Desk Personnel
-Responsible for collecting/reporting metrics, managing scope, prioritizing work and resources
-Overall responsible for day to day site operations .
-Site Lead Staff communicates with the Program Managers on a daily basis, keeping him informed of site issues.
-The Site Lead is responsible for developing professional relationships with staff that facilitate teamwork, growth and quality services.
-Configure assets with the latest DISA STIGs, with limited assistance on multiple Operating Systems to include, but not limited to, LINUX, UNIX, Microsoft products, and various network components.
-Provide input and update to standard operating procedures.
-Participate in organizations change management process.
-Bachelors Degree is required with 8 or more years experience . Associates Degree and 12 years of experience can substitute for a degree. 6 additional years of experience can substitute for a Bachelors Degree
-Microsoft Windows 7/10 certification.
-Work experience with Systems Administration, Network Administration, Database Administration, or combination of experience and a certification in one of the following: CCNP, CCSP or Security+ certification.
-Additionally, candidate must have at least three years of experience managing teams of at least 10 people.
-Also requires a Computing Environment certification: such as CompTIA A+, Server +, Network+, Microsoft Specialist Win 10 (Configuring Windows Devices) OR equivalent/higher level certification.
-Currently possess an active DoD TS/SCI security clearance.
-Large, Enterprise-level IT Experience in supporting multiple Operating Systems and environments.
-Comprehensive knowledge of IT service desk requirements with the ability to complete difficult and complex assignments and ability to provide over the phone troubleshooting.
-Experience working with demanding, high ranking customers and staff. Has the communication skill to effectively interface with military officials, managers, and subordinates.
-Currently possess ITIL v3 certification.
-Microsoft equivalent/higher level certification, virtualization, network (eg., Cisco, Juniper), storage (eg., NetApp, Dell), helpdesk software (i.e. Remedy).
