Description:
Global Information Grid (GIG) Service Management-Operations (GSM-O), a Defense and Intelligence Group of Leidos has an opening for a Mobile Network Operations Engineer at San Antonio, TX.

The NetOps Engineering candidate will perform day to day operations in support of the Secure Mobile Device Gateway service supporting DMCC which provides IT repair, maintenance, operations, logistics, and engineering services to help ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of the DoD's secure mobile device capability gateway service. The ideal candidate will have broad experience in voice and data network infrastructure to include extensive service delivery and network integration experience for a variety of voice and data network protocol standards. Excellent project, technical, interpersonal, presentation and problem management skills. Certifications with major network system vendors such as Cisco and Juniper are a strong plus. The candidate selected for this position will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. The candidate should have experience with the use of network monitoring tools to identify problems or help customers requiring assistance with network hardware, software, or inquiries.

This position is supporting the DISA customer as part of the GSM-O program. This candidate will support 24x7x365 operations, administration and maintenance of mission critical DoD communications networks. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of network management, incident management, trouble management, problem management, and administration. The candidate should be a self-starter and have the ability to work with minimal supervision. The candidate will perform within a performance-based environment where performance is based on pre-determined Service Level Agreement s (SLA s) or Acceptable Levels of Performance (ALP s). Member of the network team supporting DISA GSM-O program interface with government counterparts, both CONUS and OCONUS, as well as other Leidos and subcontractor team members. Responsible for the network components used on the program with specific responsibilities including but not limited to the evaluation of system network requirements in order to make appropriate technical recommendations.


Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

-Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline and 4+ years of overall related experience. 4+ years of additional related years of experience is accepted in lieu of a degree.

-Currently possess an active Secret security clearance.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network infrastructure problems or anomalies.

- Troubleshoot all aspects of the Cisco Voice and Data network. Must be organized, process oriented, possess skills in Visio diagramming and a solid understanding of WAN principals.

- Experience with Cisco Voice platforms, Call Manager, Unity, VOIP gateway, SIP, PRI’s, Dialing plans, and Cisco Unified Boundary Element (CUBE)

- Experience operating or sustaining an Enterprise level architecture where users are located at multiple sites.

- Experience troubleshooting with customers at remote sites.

- Work with customers (who possess minimal skillset) over the phone to execute commands.

- DoD 8570 requirement - (CompTia Security+ or higher)
