Network Voice Communications Engineer
The Defense & Intelligence Group of Leidos has an opening for a Network Voice Communications Engineer at the Pentagon in Washington, DC.
The Network Voice Communications Engineer will support the Nuclear Command and Control Multimedia Systems in the National Military Command Center at the Pentagon.
∙Perform design and programming of interactive multimedia systems including Digital Media, Crestron Control and video switching/routing.
∙Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
∙Support Project Management to provide accurate task completion estimates and independently work within approved schedule and costs.
∙Develop user familiarization training guides and complete configuration management including system drawings, rack elevations and circuit diagrams.
∙Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
∙Configure and manage Windows operating systems.
∙Install/load operating system and application software
∙Isolate and resolve hardware and software problems involving the applications, the operating system, the hardware, the communications infrastructure, or any combination thereof.
∙Integrate new technologies into new and existing systems including the transition and migration of legacy systems.
∙Active TS/SCI security clearance or higher.
∙8+ years of multimedia audio/visual systems.
∙Experience with at least 3 or more of the following;
∙Crestron Control Systems and Digital Media
∙Satcom and Line of Site Radio systems
