IT Customer Support
The Defense and Intelligence group at Leidos currently has an immediate opening for a Customer Support candidate at San Antonio, Texas.
This position supports the Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS) Enterprise Human Resource application and related systems located in San Antonio, Texas. Candidate must be capable of working in a fast paced environment requiring the ability to manage multiple tasks.
All work is to be performed at the office location. No travel or roving support is expected.
Support duties, to include entering, working and closing tickets in HP Service Manager ticketing system, prioritizing work, scheduling user moves, new equipment deployment, inventory tracking and on-site support.
Solutions to IT requests may involve face-to-fact interactions, email support and remote control/troubleshooting.
The successful Candidate will perform desktop support on PCs and laptop system to incorporate patches and/or enhancements, install COTS products, proprietary software and configure them to successfully run in multiple environments.
The successful Candidate will also update and maintain COTS and custom system monitoring tools/scripts. Desktop Services support providing excellent customer service, hardware/software support and installation to domain-joined Windows 7/10 laptops and desktops.
Familiarity with setup, imaging and support of primarily HP hardware and peripherals, Office 2010/2013, Lync, Juniper VPN, Adobe and many other typical and non-typical software packages.
Upon occasion, support of video teleconferencing, Windows and IPhone support will be required.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years of prior relevant experience. Must be US Citizen.
Must be US Citizen.
Possess an active DOD Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) upon starting in position in order to obtain a DOD IT-1 designation in a Position of Trust
Possess a current Security+ CE certification (or higher) upon starting in position
Experience with Windows 7, 8 and 10
Previous Customer Support experience.
Experience with Internet Explorer 8, 9, 10, 11
Strong Microsoft Office 2010/2013 skills
Experience with Voice over IP Telephony systems.
