The NISC III program is seeking a qualified Database Management Administrator (DBA) to upgrade and migrate existing eTERPS National Database systems. A successful candidate must have a thorough knowledge of Database Management System (DBMS) applications, including definition, design, structure, documentation, upgrades, and interface communication requirements with remote DBMS. Duties include developing database tables, queries, stored-procedures, triggers, data integrity, and security. Additionally, the candidate must develop and maintain recovery and back-up procedures and provide recommendations regarding enhancements and improvements. The candidate must be a strong teammate, communicate well with peers, and external customers.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience. working as a DBA. An associate's degree with additional years of experience will also be considered.
