Systems Integration Engineer
Leidos's Military & Veterans Health Solutions Group current has a need for a Systems Integration Engineer on the DHMSM contract in Vienna, Va.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Architect, develop, integrate, test, optimize and sustain DHMSM Operational Medicine (Segment 2) systems and subsystems. Develop integration automation capabilities. Interpretation of system, subsystem, interfaces and software requirements and design specifications is essential. Understanding of IT systems, development and integration methodologies, and test processes is necessary. The candidate will support data flow processes within Segment 2—specifically patient import, export, and overall internal and external data movement. LINUX experience, knowledge of virtualization technologies, and familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle is required. Experience designing, integrating, and testing software-based systems is also required.
Supports problem analysis and troubleshooting of architecture and design. Reviews current status of system applications and prepares recommendations for systems improvements. Monitors design processes and prepares reports on systems projects. Provides regular status reports to customer groups.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BS and 7 years related experience in performing integration of agile-developed software systems and interfaces.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND ABILITY:
Experience with Windows and Linux-based IT systems. Knowledge of design, development, and integration, and testing techniques are required. Knowledge of virtualization technologies, and familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle is required.
US Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain an ADPII security clearance.
