The NISC III program within Leidos Civil Group is looking for a Program Implementation Team Program Analyst Specialist to support the FAA Western Center (WSC) Planning & Requirements Group (PRG) Program Implementation Managers (PIM) Team. 

The employee will be responsible for analyzing current programs, policies and procedures and identifying and assist with implementing improvements to increase the organization’s effectiveness. 

Employee will work under general supervision so must possess high initiative, confidence, and be self-motivated to identify impactful improvements to the PIM team operations. 

Routine duties (75%) include assisting with the collection, review, consolidation, updating, reporting, and analysis of data in various FAA Programs and databases. 

Assist with the creation, improvement and maintenance of sophisticated, regularly recurring status reports that are upwardly reported to FAA management and stakeholders. 

Assist with the communication of pertinent information and data to high level management, field facilities, support entities, end-users, and other stakeholders. 

Assist with program administration, including developing sustainable document data controls for important program items. 

This includes FAA Orders and other Directives, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), various reports and records, and MS SharePoint postings necessary for proper execution of the FAA program. 

Able to successfully work in a SharePoint web site (25%), including utilizing a “sandbox” to assist with re- building customer’s current web site. 

Assist the PIM Team with the organization and maintenance of electronic files of historical records/data that is maintained on the shared server drive/LAN and/or stored on the SharePoint site to improve access to information and efficiency. 

Assist with the proper archiving of hard-copy files; and effective status tracking of correspondence, compliance paperwork, and other formal documents undergoing review.

Typical education and experience:
  • Typically requires a BA degree and 4 – 8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2 – 6 years of prior relevant experience.
Basic qualifications
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
  • Ability to re-build an existing SharePoint web site, recommend best design/style/function, design site based on customer requirements, and make changes to site once approved.
  • Ability to successfully work in a SharePoint “Sandbox” and transfer to the live site once approved by the customer.
  • Ability to successfully interface with multiple Program Implementation Managers (PIMs) prioritizing and managing multiple priorities and assist with meeting changing schedules and deadlines for action items.
  • Advanced ability to analyze data and create reports/dashboards that clearly delineate the status of various programs. Able to produce pivot tables, charts, graphs and data inquiries from Oracle databases, MS Excel, and MS Access.
  • Strong skills and experience with writing concise general and/or technical documentation; preparing and conducting effective presentations; and providing project monitoring and reporting.
  • Professionally and effectively communicate well orally and through excellent writing skills to various levels of management, including data presentations through charts, graphs and MS PowerPoint.
  • Advanced experience with the organization and maintenance of electronic files of historical records/data and data management skills.
