NISC III has an opening for a  must provide facilities support services to the various FAALC Product Divisions and Groups.
These services may include tasks such as: assembling and repairing office and shop furniture and fixtures; coordinating facility projects and tasks; processing and inspecting work orders and telecom efforts; maintaining space layouts and employee locations. Specifically, tasks will include, but are not limited to: a. Supporting the operational floor and office areas in assembling and repairing of workbenches, storage racks, shop fixtures, and office furniture. b. Assisting in the coordination of shop and office moves. c. Assisting in coordination of various project activities involving space planning, minor rearrangements, and major facility renovations. Coordinating as needed with contractors and other FAA offices during these activities. d. Assisting facilities and maintenance personnel in project estimating and project implementation. e. Researching materials to be used to support various facilities projects and tasks. f. Retrieving, staging and moving material used to support facilities projects and tasks. g. Maintaining inventory of stored workbenches, office furniture, shelving/storage components, and other material used to support facilities projects and tasks. h. Assisting AML Space Coordinator in maintaining and updating AML space layouts and employee locations. i. Assisting AML Space Coordinator in discussions on space allocation issues. j. Assisting in processing Facilities Work Orders in a timely, cost-effective manner. k. Inspecting, tracks status, and verifying progresses on facility work orders and telecom work requests. l. Managing the AML phone instruments. Monitoring telecom budget/expenditures. Inspecting, identifying, and documenting telecom positions. m. Coordinating telecom efforts during AML space facility rearrangement projects and personnel moves.


Position requires a High School diploma and 2+ years of experience.
