Logistics/Admin Staff Officer
The National Solutions Group is currently looking for a Logistics Staff Officer to work at a Customer site in Springfield, VA
Job Description: Serve as the subject matter expert in a wide range of functions and tasks requiring leadership, proficiency, and attention to detail. This position requires working closely with small teams to support the Total Asset Management (TAM) Program and Project Manager. Must be able to effectively manage office activities, ensure project results meet business goals, and work from an Agency and/or National System for Geospatial Intelligence (NSG) perspective, to develop and deliver pertinent information to internal and external partners and data entry into the property accountability system of record. Additionally, possess communication, interpersonal and organizational skills to clearly function in a dynamic team environment. Possess the ability to effectively schedule and coordinate meetings, calendars, and events. Possess the ability to collect, research, de-conflict and analyze information and data to prepare reports, presentations, meeting minutes, and information papers. Work independently to develop materials using Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Project). Possess the skills necessary to conduct briefings, perform project/resource management, and strategic planning. Be able to understand how to update and maintain the multi-year TAM Program Plan. Eligible for external referral.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent 7-10 years' experience related to office management/support. Additional experience in lieu of degree will be acceptable
Required Skills: Must have solid written and communications skills, effective time management skills; be organized, and able to handle multiple projects concurrently. Must have working knowledge of the FAR and DFARS regarding contractor acquired property. Must be able to effectively work in a team environment as well as work independently. Must have a basic working or functional knowledge of computer office suites. Possess a working knowledge of DoD policies, Instructions, Manuals, and PeopleSoft. Currently possess a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance.
Desired Skills: Experience as an administrator or general staff officer.
