We are currently seeking a Heavy Truck Driver familiar with classified mail handling to support the CFOAM Program. The ideal candidate will provide world class customer service in an operational environment.
Leidos currently has an opening for a Heavy Truck driver W/ CDL driving credentials and Hazmat endorsements to work in our Chantilly, VA office. This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the CFOAM Program mission. In this mission the individual will be responsible for processing classified and unclassified shipments using secure accountability Global Material Tracking Systems (GMTS) in accordance with government policy. Perform courier deliveries and pickups of classified/sensitive materials from contractor and government locations across interstate municipalities for processing. Complete shipment preparation tasks to ensure customer specified required delivery date requirements are met. Work will be performed at customer location in the Northern VA area in a safe manner. This position requires the candidate to support multi day long distance delivery schedules.
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below
Valid Driver’s License with CDL driving credentials and hazmat endorsements.
Operational knowledge of classified mail/cargo handling and courier package processing
Active TS/SCI Clearance
Ability to lift 50+ lbs
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment effectively
Microsoft Office Suite Experience
Knowledge of proper classified waste destruction processes
Capable of consistently delivering superior customer service
