Position Summary
Leidos has a career opening for a IdAM Software Engineer in Hanover, MD. This position is for a Software Engineer to support mission critical application and web service development in support of an Identity and Access Management solution. Technical responsibilities include support for software design, development, integration, test, deployment, and operational maintenance. Development includes acquisition of attributes from authoritative sources, using SAML, integration with a COTS LDAP or Virtual Directory, and Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC) Web Services.

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in computer engineering or in a field related to the computer engineering or computer science disciplines plus twelve (12) or more years of Software Engineering experience. An additional 4+ years of Software Engineering experience may be substituted for the degree
Two (2) or more years experience with Linux, Eclipse. Maven, and Java and 2+ years work experience in the SIGINT, Information Assurance (IA), or Information Technology (IT) domains. 

Critical Skills
Experience with and/or knowledge of:
Java and web application development
J2EE Containers (WebLogic)
LDAP protocol, directories, and replication (RedHat DS) 
PKI encryption and authentication
PK-enabling of software to support TLS
Broad understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and software applications.
Excellent oral and written communication skills – able to clearly communicate architecture and design concepts.
Ability to write technical documentation including wiki sites, blogs, XML/HTML.

Desired Skills 
Experience with Oracle Identity and Access Management (IAM) Suite:
Oracle Identity Federation (OIF)
Oracle Directory Services (ODS)
Oracle Virtual Directory (OVD)
Familiarity with OASIS SAML v2.0 regarding attribute sharing
Experience with CASPORT/AccessIT! Attribute Services.
Ability to work independently – must be a self-starter
Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to multi-task and work independently with minimum supervision to meet deadlines
