Oracle ADF Developer with WebCenter Experience
SEMS is the enterprise solution for EPA Superfund records used by 1,500+ employees across the agency, storing 8+million records (over 200 million pages of content). The current storage capacity of SEMS content is 30 TB.
EPA has selected Oracle WebCenter as the tool for implementing NARA’s DoD Standard 5015.2 Records Management features.
Seeking an Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) developer with WebCenter experience who will contribute to the design and implementation of Oracle WebCenter Content and Records features against the existing SEMS Documents/Records Management module to meet DoD Standard 5015.2. The existing SEMS Documents/Records Management module is consisted of Oracle ADF User Interface (UI), Oracle Java Business Component, Spring, Hibernate, and Web Services. The module manages documents, mostly PDFs that are currently stored on Windows file system. SEMS currently uses Oracle Secured Enterprise Search (SES) for full text search (FTS) against the documents as well as metadata stored inside of documents and in custom Oracle database tables.
The Oracle ADF Developer will be part of the Development Team to support the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) for SEMS, and re-evaluate the previous plan of migrating ADF application from Windows to Linux, from Windows file system to NetApp storage, setup the retention schedule and content disposition rules, check in files into Oracle’s Universal Records Management (URM), migrate files into Oracle’s Content Management (UCM), and re-index the files using SES.
