Are you ready for your next mission?  Are you interested in working overseas?  If so, our Defense & Intelligence Group has an opening for a Sr. Systems Engineer III in Mons, Belgium.
The Sr. Level Systems Engineer III will support the Army Intelligence IT Environment Support (ARIES) program. The ideal candidate will lead the team that is responsible for the engineering, maintenance and support of core technologies that host business systems including virtual Server Infrastructure, Storage Area Network, Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, Server Hardware and Server Monitoring and Management Technology. This individual acts in a supporting role to other branches across the organization to ensure that the organization's information technology infrastructure is operating effectively and efficiently.
What you’ll be doing:
  • Analyze user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications
  • Guide users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies
  • Develop system architecture and system design documentation
  • Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans
  • Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts
  • Responsible for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility
  • Plan, coordinate and manage engineering projects; Act as lead in defining and executing systems engineering activities within a project
  • Provide comprehensive definition of all aspects of system development from analysis of mission needs to verification of system performance
  • Review and/or approve system engineering documentation to ensure that processes and specifications meet system needs and are accurate, comprehensive, and complete
  • Establish and follow a formal procedure for coordinating system integration activities among multiple teams, ensuring complete coverage of all interfaces
  • Establish a process to formally and proactively control and manage changes to requirements, consider impacts prior to commitment to change, gain stakeholder buy-in, eliminate ambiguity, ensure traceability to source requirements, and track and settle open actions
  • Capture all interface designs in a common interface control format, and store interface data in a commonly accessible repository
  • Ensure efficient delivery of contract capabilities using industry standards and repeatable processes

What qualifications you’ll need to have: 
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of related experience. Additional years of experience may serve in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience in system level development, requirements definition, analysis, and risk mitigation for DoD environments
  • Experience managing a Virtualization solutions such as VMware & Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Experience with deploying & hardening Windows Server 2008 R2 & 2012 R2 Data Center
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; Willingness to work as part of a team, both as member or as a leader.
  • Ability to maintain workload in a fast paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
  • Current DoD 8570.01 certification at IAT Level II
  • Current MCSA: Windows Server 2012 or MCSA: Windows Server 2016
  • The ability to travel up to 10% 
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Currently possess MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure
  • Currently possess MCSA: SQL 2016 Database Administration
  • Currently possess MCSA: Cloud Platform
  • ITILv3 certification
