Records Mngt Tools Developer
The Defense & Intelligence group has a current opening for a Records Management (RM) Tools Developer at our Customer site in Springfield, VA.
Job Description: The position will maintain and improve existing records management (RM) automated tools. Our Customer’s Records Management tools include the SF-135 Application, a web-based tool used to manage records transfers to and from the Records Holding Areas (RHAs) where NGA records are stored; the Office File Plan (OFP) tool and the Information Officer (IO) database. The OFP tool and IO database are both MS Access-based tools. The Records Management Program is looking to convert both of these tools to either a web-based or MS SharePoint-based tool for future use. Other RM tools may be defined and required over time.
Education: Bachelor's degree with 11+ years of web development and programming experience. Additional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Required Skills: Experience in web/database design, MS Access-based tools with Visual Basic scripting, writing technical documentation, and working knowledge of records management processes and procedures.
