Leidos is seeking an experienced and motivated candidate to join our Hawai‘i Energy program team as a Business Alliances Manager.  This position will be responsible for supporting various programs across the organization in the areas of: transformational program support and program delivery support.  The Business Alliances Manager oversees the staffing, development, design and execution of the trade ally program in order to meet the performance goals, metrics and directives of the Program’s client.
The Business Alliances Manager has a clear understanding of energy in Hawaii and the role of energy efficiency in Hawai‘i’s drive to 100% renewable energy and of the private sector, government and agency environments within which our business competes and collaborates. Using a systematic approach establishes deep relationships with strategic partners including understanding their strategy, key decision-makers, organizational structure, technology solutions, roadmaps and go-to-market focus. 

Through trusted relationships and market research, the Business Alliances Manager will stimulate and recognize new program ideas (i.e., new technologies or market delivery systems) with high potential impact and establish thoughtful plans to implement ideas, while maintaining a cost-effective program portfolio. From program experience, market knowledge and relationships, the Business Alliances Manager will translate Hawai‘i Energy’s vision into strategies and business plans which maximize program participation and offerings in anticipation of increased funding in future program years. 
Driven by technological advancements, market trends, and contract requirements the Business Alliances Manager will identify opportunities which support market trade allies, drive program expansion and forge relationships with community partners and stakeholders. With a pulse on the market, facilitate and coordinate internally to implement and improve program offerings and customer experience, ensuring internal operations are coordinated, effective and measurable while being agile and adaptive to changing market conditions.

The Business Alliances Manager will have excellent communication and collaboration skills and the ability to work across teams of marketing, finance, and operations. The Business Alliances Manager has the ability to clearly articulate and set goals and priorities and exhibits a high level of energy and drive to achieve them. With a perspective that encourages personal commitment and holds management and support staff accountable for achieving targets the Business Alliances Manager is receptive to new ideas and services, is continually learning and a catalyst for change. The Business Alliances Manager will also exhibit a sense of curiosity to maintain a pulse on other markets activity and their progress toward renewable energy goals. In addition, the Business Alliances Manager must have demonstrated ability to accurately analyze information, make strategic decisions and recommendations, and guide others’ decision making by identifying the anticipated benefits, consequences, and impacts of alternatives. 
Must have demonstrated people skills and be able to effectively lead, teach and manage a diverse workforce in a complex and challenging work environment while maintaining good workplace morale and performance. Ability to intake and synthesize information and strategically apply to best benefit the program and its stakeholders along with the ability to both analytically and intuitively understand and manage company risk exposure.

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience Desired – Project Management Professional certification
Well versed with Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook along with Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience and ability to leverage system to fullest capabilities.
