Leidos has a career opening for a SharePoint Developer located in Alexandria, VA.
Position Summary
The SharePoint developer will act as an administrator to design, implement and preserve numerous SharePoint sites, libraries, workflows, and applications for defined programs within the division. Provide reliable program and division management service in gathering and understanding unique program management requirements and needs for both internal-facing and external-facing SharePoint sites, workflows and applications. Perform both front and back-end SharePoint design and development activities for the program. The developer will create, update and manage security groups and access permissions to ensure appropriate access to all SharePoint sites based on management requirements. 

Primary Responsibilities

The SharePoint Developer will be responsible for writing and maintaining source code, creating and maintaining software applications and applying frameworks involved in a software release. Duties include computer programming, documenting, managing configuration, testing, and bug fixing involved in creating and maintaining applications and frameworks involved in a software release life cycle and resulting in a software product. Expertise in one or more programming language is required. 

  • Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of related experience.
  • An in-depth understanding of MS SharePoint 2013/2016 within a client and server environment. 
  • Capable of designing user interfaces (UIs) that are user-friendly and intuitive to use. Must be able to design consistent sites and troubleshoot as required in a timely manner. 
  • The applicant should have UI experience using CSS, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and other development languages such as C, PHP, and SQL. 
  • Ability to work with other SharePoint developers and administrators in a fast-paced and changing environment. 
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and how they relate to SharePoint.
  • Must have an active Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications 
  • Master’s degree preferred 
  • Knowledge of Nintex workflows and Nintex forms and experience in JavaScript within the Nintex environment.
